Born in Cologne, Germany Petra originally studied textile design in Krefeld. After working as a designer and artist in Italy, Germany and New Zealand, she moved to Australia in December 1996. She has been working as an artist since 2010. Her work has been collected in Europe,USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, The United Emirates, South Africa and Australia.
Co-founder and director of the art school/studios/gallery: Gallery Cats Sydney in Brookvale, NSW from 2010 to 2020
